Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Holiday Tour of Homes, a beloved Savannah tradition hosted by the Downtown Neighborhood Association. Each year, the tour opens the doors to private homes, historic inns, and cultural landmarks, offering a glimpse into the way these treasured spaces are enjoyed and celebrated today. From festive décor to thoughtful details, every stop tells its own story—brought to life by docent hosts who highlight the features, history, and traditions that make each home special.
The Holiday Tour of Homes is a walking tour, so we encourage guests to dress comfortably and be prepared to explore on foot. Limited trolley tickets are available for purchase, providing transportation to central locations (not directly to each home).
By attending, you’re not only taking part in one of Savannah’s most cherished holiday traditions—you’re also helping support the DNA Community Grant Program, which funds local nonprofits and neighborhood initiatives throughout the year.

About the Tour
There are two sessions to choose from, with staggered start and end times between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Both feature the same homes, inns, and museums, so whichever you choose, you’ll enjoy the full experience. For those looking for an enhanced experience, a limited number of VIP tickets are also available, providing all-day access along with special added benefits.
Proceeds for the tour directly support Downtown Neighborhood Association's charitable giving program.
